Metabolic stimulant based on 10% organic phosphorus
Phosphorus compounds, as presented in Catosal® with Vitamin B12, influence almost all the body's assimilation processes, which is why they have been called assimilatory; As a consequence, they intervene in a number of enzymatic reactions.
Catosal B12 is a metabolic stimulant formulated based on an organic phosphoric acid (Butafosfan).
FORMULA:
Each ml contains:
Butafosfan: 100 mg, Vitamin B12: 0.05 mg, Excipient cbp: 1ml.
Butafosfan is a metabolism stimulant and liver protector.
- It acts especially on the physiological processes of the skeletal system
- Stimulates smooth muscles (viscera) and tired myocardium
- Controls the enzymatic activity of the liver, protecting its function, stimulating energy metabolism
- In states of stress, it reduces the concentration of hydrocortisone and increases insulin.
Due to its Vitamin B12 content, Catosal promotes the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids, in such a way that it favorably influences body growth, the formation of red blood cells and also demonstrates a protective action of the liver.
Vitamin B12 is a source of cobalt that plays a very important role in many metabolic reactions.
- It intervenes in the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates (transfers methyl groups).
- Helps in the formation of blood cells
- Promotes growth in general, increased utilization of food (associated with increased protein).
Catosal B12 is indicated in:
Acute diseases and acute metabolic disorders such as:
- Paresis, loss of appetite, decreased milk yield, acetonemia, etc.
- Exhaustion (e.g. after laborious childbirth)
- Vital weakness and diseases of newborns
- horse lumbago
- Auxiliary in calcium therapy (e.g. in cases of tetany or hypocalcemia)
- Intoxications (as an adjuvant)
Chronic diseases and chronic metabolic disorders:
- Developmental disorders of young animals caused by growth diseases.
- States of weakness in small species such as dogs and cats
- Cannibalism in birds
- Hysteria in birds
- Supportive therapy in chronic diseases
General metabolic disorders of domestic animals caused by inadequate feeding:
- Disorders in cattle, during periods of phosphoric drought, before the rains, characterized by the following clinical symptoms: paresis, bolism and loss of appetite, chronic indigestion or rumen overload, malnutrition, decreased milk yield processes, nervous phenomena, etc.
- Poor nutrition and loss of appetite
- Prevent lack of appetite
- Nutritional and developmental disorders in the liver of young animals
Infertility
- For the prevention (prophylaxis) of puerperal diseases with consequent fertility disorders, it is recommended to apply 20 ml in the 6th and 4th week before childbirth, which also reduces metabolic problems such as ketosis, milk fever and ovarian cysts.
- Prophylactic against sterility and puerperal disease
-
As a supportive treatment for infertility and sexual deficiencies
- In the preparation of dogs dedicated to breeding
Anemia
Secondary or parasitism
Overwork, fatigue and exhaustion
- To improve muscle performance in racehorses and working dogs
- Nutrition disorders, emaciation, states of weakness or exhaustion after illnesses, parasitosis, etc.
- Promotes rapid regeneration of damaged muscle
- Prevent muscle damage
Treatment of healthy animals
- To improve the reproductive efficiency of males
- For dairy cows subjected to the intense effort of lactation
- For dogs while nursing their litters
